Just a little over one week prior to opening, custodial Cast Members are learning that they can return to work.

Orlando Sentinel has reported that approximately 120 Cast Members can begin returning to work as early as this Friday, May 15th, according to Union representatives.

The article notes that Disney will provide masks to the Cast Members to wear while they are at work. Eric Clinton, president of the workers’ union Unite Here 362, noted that Disney is the company “that’s going to get it right” when it comes to re-opening and keeping their Cast Members safe. Disney will be meeting regularly with union representatives to discuss safety concerns as they arise.
