Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Soller Join ‘Rogue One’ Spin-Off Series for Disney+

If you’re a big Star Wars fan, chances are you’re already chomping at the bit for more stories from the galaxy far, far away on Disney+. We’ve got season two of The Mandalorian to look forward to this fall, but a behind-the-scenes look at the series and the Obi-Wan Kenobi show pushing ahead are also getting us ready to grab our lightsabers again.

Although we don’t know much yet about the series based on Rogue One‘s Rebel spy Cassian Andor coming to the streaming service, it seems two more actors are set to join the rebel force!

According to Variety, both Stellan Skarsgard and Kyle Foller are in final talks to appear in the Rogue One spin-off series. Skarsgard is known for roles in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and as recurring scientist Erik Selvig in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kyle Foller, mostly known his work on British television series, recently starred in the HBO film Brexit alongside Benedict Cumberbatch.

The series is described as a “spy thriller” prequel to Rogue One and will feature Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk reprising their roles of Cassian Andor and K-2SO respectively. We still don’t have a release date for the show, but it may be awhile before we hear anything concrete with production halted across the entertainment industry.
