New Docuseries, ‘Peyton’s Places’, and More Coming to ESPN This April

ESPN is starting the play clock to take sports fans on a trip down memory lane.

The sports channel will chronicle some of the greatest games ever played throughout sports history on cable and the ESPN App throughout the month of April.

On April 4th, ESPN2 will be airing a 14.5-hour marathon of the ESPN+ series Peyton’s Places, recounting the story of Peyton Manning. The 29-episode marathon will begin at 9:30 AM EST.

“The Last Dance”, a ten-part documentary series following the season of Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls as they chase their sixth championship in eight years, will premiere on ESPN on April 19th. Two episodes will debut every following Sunday through May 17th.

If you need more basketball in your life, ESPN will also be premiering their NBA Wednesday Nights doubleheader series tonight, April 1st, at 7 PM ET. The legendary games will run on the channel at 7 and 9:30 PM ET every Wednesday night through April 29th.

ESPN will also be showcasing the best of America’s pastime during the MLB Encore Tuesdays. You’ll be able to watch some of the most historic baseball moments, including Mike Piazza’s walk-off home run versus the Atlanta Braves. They’ll be running a new showing every Tuesday through April 28th, at either 7 PM or 8 PM.

Even if you’re stuck inside, you can still root, root, root for the home team on ESPN and the ESPN App.
