Forget Briar Rose Gold — We Wish Disney Would Create these New Color Trends

We have seen a ton of really bright and colorful color trends since the original Rose Gold dropped in late-2017. A few of our favorites have been the Redd trend, Briar Rose Gold, and Magic Mirror Metallic; but we admit: we’re fans of pretty much all of them.

But even with the veritable rainbow of options so far, there are still quite a few color trends we wish Disney would create, because if they did, we’d be running to buy ears, spirit jerseys, and MagicBands galore!

Here are a few of the AllEars team’s top picks for color trends we’d like to see in Disney World and Disneyland next.

Rich Colors: Emerald Green and Royal Blue

While we enjoyed Potion Purple, we’d really like to see a Figment Purple or Lilac color trend. Recently, a new Lavender Spirit Jersey appeared in the parks, so we hope this is the start of something new. 🙂

We would also be thrilled to see some Emerald Green or a Navy Blue similar to the color used for the Disney Cruise Line ears! Where’s a landlubber’s blue, Disney?!

New Prints

We’re also ready to see some new prints! How about a fun Leopard print at Animal Kingdom or a retro Tie-Dye color trend? They could even be exclusive to Pop Century Resort! We’ve seen a soft tie-dye for Flower & Garden, but let’s turn up the brightness on some ears!

A Different Shade of Yellow

A while back Disney introduced Dapper Yellow. It did not stick around long, and it never really made it as a trend. But what if they introduced a new Winnie the Pooh or Beauty and the Beast yellow that’s a little less bold and a little softer? (We can’t be the only ones who think Belle deserves something better than the Belle of the Ball Bronze trend!)

Neon Colors

Speaking of retro, we would love to see some more 80s neon colors, like an electric pink or green! While we loved the Imagination Pink trend, we want to see even brighter and more intense trends.

Monochromatic

And how sleek and cool would it be to have a monochrome Black and White collection? Maybe Disney could incorporate Steamboat Willie somehow!

Baby Yoda Green

A few other honorable mentions that we’d love to see done in the parks are a Teal or Seafoam Green collection! We’ve seen a cute seafoam-like color on the Baby Yoda spirit jerseys, but we’d love to see even more.
