Animal Kingdom Has Welcomed a New Addition to the Disney Family

Earlier today, we told you guys about a new animal care update from Dr. Mark Penning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

We were told that more heart-warming animal stories would be coming soon, and we just got a first look at that (adorable) bit of good news!

A new baby porcupine has joined the Animal Kingdom family! The animal care team is continuing to provide for all of the creatures in the park, including the new baby porcupine that was born on February 25th. Dr. Mark is giving us an inside look at the new arrival.

The porcupette was born to Peri, who you may have seen on One Day at Disney on Disney+ getting an ultrasound. Now we finally get to see the baby live!
