Just days after the multi-day closure of Haunted Mansion was resolved, we’re seeing another surprisingly lengthy closure in Magic Kingdom.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover closed earlier this week on March 9th, and while short closures are pretty standard throughout the parks, what’s not standard, is that the PeopleMover is now on its fourth day of closure at Magic Kingdom.
In fact, the delay in the reopening of the PeopleMover is ongoing. At the time of writing, the attraction is still closed.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on this developing situation and we’ll update this post with any new info or if we see Peoplemover moving the peeps again!

The ride stopped completely last Friday and we had to walk off it.
I love the People Mover. Please don’t ever consider shuting it down. We older passholder need a break occasionally.
I really feel like all of the “extra magic hours” in the mornings and evenings are the root cause of the rides being closed/broken down. Proper maintenance time overnight isn’t happening is my guess. Disney needs to scale back the extra times and special paid events and maybe the rides can start getting the attention that they need. We all know that isn’t going to happen though. $$$$$$$$$. It’s sad, my family has always been huge Disney fans, but with ride issues and over-crowding, it is definitely pushing us elsewhere for vacations.
