Since Rise of the Resistance first debuted this past December in Disney World, visitors have been coming out in droves bright and early to try and snag a boarding pass!

With so many guests coming at earlier hours now, Hollywood Studios has been adding a few new breakfast options. Earlier today we reported that the Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge had added a Breakfast Menu, and now ABC Commissary has added one as well!
If you’ve visited Hollywood Studios during Early Morning Magic, some of the new menu items might look familiar to you! For Entrees, the menu includes options such as Mexican Corn Chilaquiles and Eggs, Fried Chicken and Cinnamon-Sugar French Doughnut, Breakfast Charctuerie Platter, Bakery Sampler, Shrimp and Cheddar Grits, and Smashed Avocado Toast and Egg. The menu also includes a new plant-based option to go with your eggs, with the Plant-Based Chilaquiles and Eggs.

The Smashed Avocado Toast and Egg is available for $9.99 and comes with avocado, cresting, oven-roasted egg, and seasonal greens!

The Bakery Sampler comes with an assortment of baked goods for $7.99.

The Fried Chicken and Cinnamon-Sugar French Doughnut is available for $8.99 and comes with crispy chicken strips, sweet potato bites, cinnamon-sugar French doughnuts, and a maple glaze.

The Shrimp and Cheddar Grits comes with sautéed shrimp, creamy cheddar white corn grits, andouille sausage, onions, as well as a variety of peppers for $10.99.

For the Kids Menu, guests 9 and under can enjoy the Fried Chicken and Cinnamon-Sugar French Dougnut, or the Scrambled Eggs and Sweet Potato Bites.

You can order from the new breakfast menu starting today at ABC Commissary! The breakfast options will be available daily through 10 AM.

I’m surprised it took Disney so long to cash in on the thousands of people swarming into Hollywood studios before 8 am! Our family is back in New York State now, but two weeks ago we were part of the orderly yet huge mob vying for admission to Rise Of the Resistance attraction. First day, we had boarding group 116, no luck that day despite waking up at our resort at six am! The next day we tried again, with a boarding group of 84. Twelve hours later we were on the ride. Was it worth it? YES! THe adults loved it, the nine and twelve year old said it was too long to wait. I would have loved a few places serving breakfast. As it was, every counter service was mobbed at eleven for lunch. Hollywood Studios is overrun with people every single day. And these people are in the park at eight in the morning! This means long lines for every attraction in the park. I don’t see the fervor dying down for years. I would like to experience the Rise of the resistance multiple times! It is that awesome. So yeah, Hollywood Studios, you have the crowds, breakfast of all types would be most welcome. Sell some crying towels too, for the thousands that don’t get a boarding pass that day. Or when the attraction breaks down and you can’t board. DId I mention it’s awesome?
