Magic Kingdom Construction Update: Tomorrowland, TRON Progress, and Splash Mountain TLC!

There’s a good bit of construction going on at Magic Kingdom right now and we’re taking a look at all of the updates.

Tomorrowland is getting a serious refresh and we spotted evidence of the work today on our visit! Many of the columns that support the ceilings of the land are surrounded by bulky grey scrim.

Hmm, are the columns just getting a fresh paint job or a whole new look? We’re excited to see when the scrims come down!

TRON Lightcycle Run

Of course, a visit to Tomorrowland isn’t complete without a stop over at the future home of TRON Lightcycle Run run to check on the progress. The building is almost completely enclosed now!

Except for the outdoor track, though! You can really see where the coaster will exit the building from here.

Splash Mountain

And over in Frontierland, work continues on Splash Mountain as crews give the classic attraction a little care. Splash will open back up on February 28th to bring the water ride thrills back to the people!
