But Stark Tower wasn’t built in a day, which is why visitors to Disneyland Resort are going to spot some big construction projects lately! Let’s take a look at what’s cooking in Walt’s Kitchen.

There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrowland

The Tomorrowland Theater is seeing some big changes this week.

Though it remains operational for the time being!

Currently, the theater is showing Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, an anthology of the Skywalker Saga. The film recently closed at Hollywood Studios to make way for a new Mickey Shorts theater, but no such plans were announced for the Tomorrowland Theater. As the film remains open, we speculate this is a simple refresh of the facade…

The ubiquitous construction walls have been erected around the attraction.

Speaking of Hollywood…

Facade Work in Hollywood Land

Over at the Hyperion Theater, some construction barriers have been erected around the building facades.

The scaffolding really reveals the illusion here.

Like the now defunct Streets of America at Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Land at California Adventure relies on trompe l’oeil and forced perspective to create the illusion of additional depth. The facade for Frozen – Live at the Hyperion in particular conceals the entire show building behind a simulated skyline. It seems like this facade is the focus on the new renovations.

From appearances, it seems like the focus could potentially be on refreshing some of the buildings, but we’ll keep you posted as it develops.

Avengers Assembled

Finally, the Avengers Campus is tantalizingly close to completion!

This is the future home of the Worldwise Engineering Brigade!

We can see the Worldwide Engineering Brigade building, home of the new Spider-Man attraction set to open with the park, starting to take form. In addition to housing the new attraction, this park will also feature the first use of Disney’s new Stuntronics, with a robotic Spider-Man performing feats of acrobatic agility above the rooftop!

We can’t wait to visit this amazing new attraction when it opens this summer.
