You’ve always wanted to go to Walt Disney World when you couldn’t turn around for tripping into someone else, right? When you’re walking arm in arm with strangers right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.? We know: it’s a dream come true.
Good news! The time is now!

The AllEars team was at Magic Kingdom today along with several thousands of our nearest and dearest… . No, we can’t even pretend this was fun. Space Mountain’s line started… here:

Peoplemover was moving people. Slowly. Through this gargantuan line.

Tomorrowland Speedway? Not so speedy.

Well, okay: this one’s just a given. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 180 minutes. You’ve got three hours to spare, right?

The rest of Fantasyland was also packed, with multiple cast members directing traffic for Peter Pan’s Flight.

Even Mickey’s Philharmagic had a line.

And ‘it’s a small world’? It’s a big line.

Haunted Mansion was a doozy.

This was the FastPass line. You can see the Mansion. It’s right there. But FastPass almost out to Columbia Harbour House.

But then, the standby line got loopy. It snaked down by the water and back again.

Meanwhile, the crowds also descended for Dole Whip. And we can’t blame them! (Use that Mobile Order, folks!)

And as the sun set and Cinderella Castle was all aglow, the crowds gathered…

…and gathered…

…and gathered…

…and, oh, look, they gathered some more.

It seems like the perfect time for that old adage: a day at Disney — even a crazy crowded one — is better than a day at home. Right? Right? If you’re heading to the Parks this week, expect more of the same. And if you see some crowds, be sure to tag us @AllEarsNet on social media so we can commiserate!
Let us know what you think in the comments below. Are you game for BIG crowds?
Takes me back to New Year’s 2000 crowds. Cool to have been there, but not really cool to be there at the moment. Crowds “fenced” off in each area as New Years arrived for crowd control, just in case Y2K fears came true.
That is the definition of insanity. Bet one of these pictures is right there in your Funk and Wagnalls! Not me! I will stick to easier times!
