Construction Update: New Planters Spotted at the Magic Kingdom!

One of the benefits of living in Florida? It’s always a perfect season for plants, even in mid-December!

Plus we can always use a bit more greenery in our lives.

We recently reported on some new floral additions to Epcot’s main gate, but it seems like the Magic Kingdom has also gotten in on the flower fun. These new planters have been spotted just outside the Main Street Station!

Construction has been going on outside the Magic Kingdom’s entrance for a while now, so this represents the first time in a few months that we’ve had a clear path to the gate.

Look at all that room.

Construction isn’t quite finished yet, but these new additions have definitely brought some life to the area. So many poinsettias!

There’s a large Magic Kingdom design in the center of the two planters as well.
The new additions offer much-needed seating options for guests after leaving their ferry or monorail.

We look forward to seeing what Disney does with these new planters in the spring (and what this whole area will look like when work is complete). Until then, be sure to leave a comment and follow us on social media to keep up with all the latest Disney news!
