Two Classic Disney Games are Now on Nintendo Switch!

Remember the classic Aladdin and Lion King games from back in the 90s?  You know, the ones with stages based on the Cave of Wonders and “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” that you needed your older sibling to beat?

Well now they’re back on the Nintendo Switch with Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. Oh, and notice how I didn’t specify which system was ported? That’s because they all were!

That’s right. Whether you cut your teeth on the Super Nintendo, were a diehard Sega fan, or still miss your old Game Boy, this new collection has you covered with nearly every version of both games.  There’s even a new “Final Cut” version of Aladdin, featuring difficulty adjustments, bug fixes, and a few surprises.

The games also feature some modern quality of life updates. Don’t have an older sibling or parent to play through the level? Spectator Mode allows an AI to take over those difficult sections, allowing you to jump in whenever you’re ready to play again. You can also use the game’s new rewind function to try those tricky parts yourself, or compensate for a mistake without losing those precious lives.

Each game also features a save function, allowing you to pause and pick up at any time without the need for complicated passwords.

Finally, every game features a soundtrack mode, allowing you to jam out to those classic 16-Bit Tunes.
