Capturing the Legend of the Forbidden Mountain

Along the queue to Expedition EVEREST in Disney’s Animal Kingdom you can learn about the Lost Expedition and mysterious Yeti.

I often photograph t-shirt and sweatshirt designs which come in handy for blogs, posts and storytelling.

On the way to Expedition EVEREST, look up and you will see rows and rows of Prayer Flags in a rainbow of colors featuring creatures of the mountain.

Normally, I use a big zoom for the safari and animal trails at Animal Kingdom but here I was able to pull in the details for these high hanging flags.

As you enter the ride queue, you will come upon the Himalayan Escapes travel agency office which looks to be abandoned. Even more so in Black and White.

After your adventure on the Forbidden Mountain, look back and marvel at the grandeur and legend you were just a part of.
