This popular “Over California” version of Soarin’  has returned to California Adventure for a limited time — just through June 30, 2019.

The scenes of Pebble Beach, hot air balloons, and the Golden Gate Bridge are back on the big screen.

In 2016 the ride transitioned in both California Adventure and Epcot to Soarin’ Around the World.

The Epcot version of the ride is not returning to Soarin’ Over California this month. It remains Soarin’ Around the World.

  1. I have always felt Soarin over California belongs in California Adventure while Soarin around the world belongs in Walt Disney World

  2. I like the original version and the original music of Soarin’ better. The CGI treatment in the new version is off-putting and unnecessary. I wish they had just remastered the original and kept it like it was, or at least offer an option. I feel the same way about the original Star Tours: that original tide, with Rex, should be sprinkled into the current mix.
