If you haven’t eaten at Disney Springs recently you are missing out! Over the last few years, we’ve seen all sorts of eateries popping up over there, from crepes to poutine and burgers to sushi. It’s no surprise that all three of our favorite new restaurants in Walt Disney World are in Disney Springs!

From the partnership of restauranteur Robert Earl and celebrity food personality Guy Fieri, comes Chicken Guy!, a fast-casual restaurant. The menu features chicken sandwiches and tenders, which can be grilled or fried. Sides include fries, loaded mac & cheese, and fried pickle chips. But the real stand-out here is the condiment selection! There are 22 different sauces including some of Guy’s favorites: Donkey Sauce, Chipotle Ranch, Curry Mayo, Wasabi Honey, and Cumin Lime Mojo. Head into Chicken Guy! and take your taste buds to Flavortown!
Wine Bar George is Master Sommelier George Miliotes’ first restaurant. The wine list has more than 100 selections from around the world, including wines on tap.
The team at Wine Bar George is very knowledgeable, and will teach you about wine and help you find the perfect pour. The menu features meat and cheese boards, small bites, such as Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites and Charred Octopus. Also available are family style entrees, such as skirt steak or Greek-style sea bass. Everything we’ve tried has been outstanding and far beyond “theme park” food. Wine Bar George is a great place to have a bite and find a new favorite wine!
3. Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill
Wolfgang Puck’s newly reimagined restaurant opened in late 2018 and it was worth the wait!

Redesigned with an upscale barn feel, the Bar and Grill features large tables for big parties, exposed wood, and bright light fixtures. On the menu, you’ll see that the “California cuisine” features lots of variety and fresh options. Our favorite appetizers include the Roasted Meatballs and the seasonal soups. For entrees, try one of the specialty pizzas or twists on the classics, such as the Mesquite Grilled NY Strip served with steak fries and a green peppercorn compound butter. Wolfgang Puck puts a lot of emphasis on using local, seasonal ingredients, so expect the menu will change frequently. This just means there will likely be something new to try and you can return again and again!
If you’re craving barbecue during your vacation, you have to stop by the Polite Pig!

Smoked entrees include ribs, chicken, brisket, and cedar plank salmon. They also have an incredible selection of sides, with choices like sweet potato tots, crispy brussels sprouts, and southern potato salad. The Polite Pig is also known for their “on-tap only” beverage list, meaning everything from cocktails to beer is poured from a tap! Specifically, they have an incredible whiskey collection for the bourbon fans in your family!

While the Polite Pig does have a nice whiskey selection I was disappointed that they did not have Elijah Craig, Johnny Drum, Widow Jane or any Jim Beam. These should be staples of any whiskey bar.
