Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea Return to Disney Cruise Line in 2020

Disney Cruise Line will again offer the popular experiences Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea on select sailings in 2020.  These special seven and five-night sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas, with character encounters, live shows and themed entertainment, will be on the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Magic respectively.

Star Wars Day at Sea will be featured on nine Disney Fantasy seven-night cruises around the Caribbean from January to March 2020. The ship will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, for these sailings.

On the designated Star Wars Day, guests will have the opportunity to meet Star Wars heroes like Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2, as well as villains such as Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. The day will also have a full slate of Star Wars-themed activities, as well as special merchandise and food and beverage offerings. The “Summon the Force” deck party concludes the day, along with a fireworks show.

For the sailings departing on Jan. 11, Jan. 25 and Feb. 22, 2020, the eastern Caribbean itinerary will include Tortola, St. Thomas and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

The Feb. 8, 2020, sailing also has an eastern Caribbean itinerary with ports-of-call at Tortola; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Castaway Cay.

For departures on Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Feb. 1, Feb. 15 and Feb. 29, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary will include Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Castaway Cay.

Marvel Day at Sea

Marvel Day at Sea will only be offered on nine Disney Magic Caribbean and Bahamian five-night cruises sailing from Miami, Florida, from January to early March 2020.

These special sailings will feature a large assembly of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains, including Captain Marvel, who made her debut on the Magic earlier in January 2019. Also aboard will be Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man and many others. The all-day entertainment will include live shows the entire family can enjoy, as well as Marvel-themed activities for kids and families, and special merchandise, food and beverage. The evening will conclude with an action-packed deck show, Marvel Super Heroes Unite!

Departing Jan. 9, Jan. 27, Feb. 10, Feb. 24 and March 9, 2020, the Bahamian itinerary will include stops at Key West, Florida; Nassau, Bahamas; and Castaway Cay.

Departing Feb. 1, Feb. 15 and Feb. 29, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary includes George Town, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay.

Departing Jan. 18, 2020, the western Caribbean itinerary includes Cozumel, Mexico and Castaway Cay.
