Disney Pic of the Week: Holiday Parade Float

Photographic Innoventions by Scott Thomas

My favorite time of year is Christmastime. Saying that it should come to no surprise my favorite holiday parade float would involve Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade which is part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Up until last week, I had never photographed the parade.

I quizzed a Disney fan photographer, whose Christmas parade photos I had always admired, for his best tips. They helped me come away with this photo of Mickey and Minnie Mouse on the lead float as they traveled down Main Street USA with “snow” coming down all around them.

I will detail how I photographed the parade on my blog this Friday.

Tomorrow, Deb will share her favorite holiday parade float.
