If you’re like me, riding It’s A Small World means that song will be playing in my head for the rest of the day. Disney music has a way of doing that to you!
And when you visit Walt Disney World music is everywhere. Disney does a wonderful job of filling the air with music of all sorts. Music is always playing in the background as you walk through the parks, there are entertainers, parades and marching bands as well as music at each of the attractions.
This one was really, really hard for me. Once I started to think about it there were so many Walt Disney World songs that I absolutely love. So, narrowing it down to my top five choices was very difficult. I’ve chance this list so many times I’m still not sure I got it right, but here goes; here’s my top five:

There are so many to choose from. I loved the songs from the Cinderella movie (the very first movie I ever saw). Of course 2 and 3 are oldies but goodies! When the singers at the Lion King show start off the chant to the Circle of Life song I get all teary! I noticed no one has yet to put It’s a Small World yet! LOL!

From the time my daughter was born, I always would go in and get her up in the morning singing the good morning song. We love Disney, but in all the years had never made the opening to MK, so imagine our pleasant surprise when she was about 10 and we finally got there early enough to see the opening and found that Mickey and Minnie sing OUR song everyday to open OUR favorite place… just sooo special.

My favorite music that isn’t played anymore is the Tapestry of Nations.
I remember when I visited for the first time during the holiday season (Jolly Holiday Package-remember that 1). Well anyway, the special Disney touch to Christmas music was awesome. I tried to get the park CD but what I got was not what I heard through out the parks. Anyway, here are mine:
1. 2nd Star to the Right from Peter Pan
2. Golden Dreams-makes me cry when I see Ryan White.
3. Sounds of Disney Period!

1)IllumiNations is literally my favorite song EVER. I listen to it at least once a day and am currently in the process of trying to get the original score, as it is my dream to play it.
2)I have decided that when I get married (waaaaaay in the future) it will be at Disney, and this will be my first dance song.
3)Recently discovered this piece, and it’s fantastic.
4)I’m specifically talking about the ending song, when people are leaving. But all of Wishes is great!
5)This song never makes me fail to tear up, especially during the actual show, when JFK’s son salutes the casket.

Golden Dream brings tears to my eyes, and I can’t get enough of all parade and nighttime show music. In the MK, I LOVE the entire soundtrack to Splash. It’s just fun.

I have this cassette that has the original songs from Disneyland and when the parks at WDW first opened. I have played it so much that it doesn’t work anymore and I can’t find a new one anywhere. Disney’s has so many great songs. I really love all the day of the week songs on the Mickey Mouse Club.
