Star-studded Red Carpet Kicks-Off World Premiere of “World of Color”

The New Nighttime Water Show at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort Nearly 1,200 Fountains, Disney Animation, Fire, Lasers and Special Effects Raise Nighttime Entertainment to New Heights

Anaheim, CA (June 10, 2010) Tonight, Hollywood turned out for the World Premiere of a new nighttime spectacular called World of Color at Disney California Adventure park at the Disneyland Resort. Teri Hatcher, John Stamos, Geena Davis and others walked a water-blue carpet on their way to see Disney’s newest mega-scale, after-dark celebration. World of Color combines nearly 1,200 fountains, fire, lasers, Disney music and beloved Disney and Disney-Pixar stories to create an all-new kaleidoscope of audio and visual effects. It’s performed on a floating stage that’s bigger than a football field. Fountains shoot 200 feet into the air and create one of the world’s largest projected waterscreens at 19,000 square feet. Through the almost 25-minute show, World of Color brings together Nemo, Little Mermaid, the Beast, Wall-E and a host of other popular characters to tell a Disney story like never before. World of Color headlines this year’s Summer Nightastic at Disneyland Resort. It opens to the public June 11.
