Planets Align So Rare

Light Meter by Lisa K. Berton

As you know, our theme this week is Mission: Space, an attraction I’m never ever going to attempt. If you want to give it a go and need me to hold your handbag, camera, car keys, “Grease” collection, sunglasses or Disney gift cards, just let me know.

Oh, I learned one thing while hanging around, shooting, Astronaut Mickey and Astronaut Goofy stopped making appearances in 2007. Phooey!

  1. We won’t let my husband on this attraction, either. His equilibrium gets thrown off by Star Tours, why would I let him be hurled around at G-force speed?

I, on the other hand, LOVE this attraction. Going into space has always been a dream of mine — one it’s highly doubtful I’ll ever achieve now (getting old and out of shape). Mission SPACE is so realistic, however, I nearly cried for joy and wonder the first time I rode it. I might not ever get to live my real dream, but I can now say I’ve come close.
